Santa decided to let us open up a special Christmas present a little early this year! And what a special little package it is! Hyrum Stephen Brooks came into this wintery world on December 19th, 2009 at 8:06 am. He even made his debut with Susan Boyle singing "How Great Thou Art" during the c-section(The tech's had it playing). It was a wonderful moment for Bart and me. He came in fine form weighing 8 lbs and 8 ounces and he is 21 inches long. Most importantly he is healthy, eating, and so cute. He has quite a bit of black hair with a very distinguished part on the side. We are so grateful to have him in our family and are very excited to have our own little "baby Jesus" for our Christmas Nativity!
